I don't drive a lot, but when I do, always use radarbot. There seems to be a lot of complaints about the speed trap notifications being too late, this is because people aren't taking 5m to look at the app to configure the alert settings!! I have mine set to variable distance for the first warning and this is on the basic app not gold!!! It runs perfectly even if my phone is in battery saving mode. The complaints are unfair. Thank you RADARBOT for making your app accessible & easy!!

Used to work well. Now I cannot see distance to nearest camera. I followed the instructions to renew my Pro purchase, the app says I have Pro subscription, it still doesn't work. I messaged the team and got an auto-reply. I replied to that over a month ago and have had nothing back. Now I have to work out how to get refunded instead. At the moment I'd avoid this app.

Your app works before coming into contact with the camera / notification. It would be nice for a heads up, or. 15 seconds before the trap. I only tested it once. The notification is into the trap and even if you try to correct it's a bit late.Will test a few more times. I have tested it it's giving the heads up on the camera. I never ran into a trap to get notify. There was positive changes made so far cannot find any bugs with it. An App which looks pretty good and it works.

Until the latest update, it was awesome, now its unreliable and pretty much useless. I have been using the PRO version for a year with no problems at all. However, a few weeks ago there started to be issues The app used to run in the background, when I started driving it just worked with no issues. Now, I sometimes have to manually start the app, and even then the alerts are intermittent, sometimes it gives them sometimes not. Sometimes it gives alerts for fixed cameras, not mobile ones. Sometimes, no alerts at all. I have checked all the settings, and they are as they were before. I have reinstalled the app, but the issues still remain. I emailed Customer services a few days ago, but no reply. Its a shame as it used to be great.

I just think people have a right to know that if you open this app, you are probably being put on Facebook even if you don't agree to it. I can't tell for sure. Anyway, I see some red-light cameras in Chicago but none in my hometown, and none of the speed traps I'm aware of in even smaller towns. So I'm not sure what to think of this app, yet.

To update my previous review, the "Pro" version that I paid for - to remove ads from the basic version - used to be good but is now a waste of money. The developers say they don't have a subscription model - they most certainly do! It's blatantly there within the app and they encourage people to pay for it. Coincidence or not (likely not), the useful features of the Pro version have disappeared sine the Gold version was introduced. Totally disingenuous. There are much better apps available.

This is one great app. It's does exactly what it says it does. I've been using it for some time and even paid for the upgrade. Unfortunately I've had to get a new phone and number and install it on my new phone, but the upgrade I paid for didn't transfer.

Awful. I bought the Pro version, I reinstalled my phone some weeks later and now it is not available and says I have to buy it again. To the developer: after restoring purchases->no purchases found to restore. Last update: apparently when you buy the Pro version from the app itself, it will not be reflected in your Google account. It appears as if you didn't buy it in the store. Good luck claiming that you had it if they decide to cancel it.

UPDATE: I can't believe that I have been using Radarbot for over two years! It has improved a lot; for example, it can warn you if you are driving too fast for the road even if there is no fixed or mobile camera. It updates itself periodically and keeps improving. Well done, Radarbot developer.

Purchased the in-app pro version a month or so ago as I was impressed with the free offering. Recently the app has been updated and the functionality is lost entirely - the alerts have disappeared, the widget has disappeared and it no longer appears to alert. There is no option for ‘upcoming cameras’ any longer and there is now no way to record average speed. There are many prompts to upgrade to Gold, which I don’t want to do - although there are ‘no ads’ the repeated prompts are just as bad. I have restored purchases but it does not allow me to use the old features. Will be requesting a refund.
