I've looked through a few usage statistics apps, and this one provides a great balance of simplicity and features. For anyone lacking access to Google's Digital Wellbeing or wanting more privacy assurance with their private usage activity, this app fits the bill. Free, open-source, no ads, and decently polished. EDIT 2019-7-13: Automatic Grayscale mode is great! I've been doing that with Tasker, but I may let Usage Stats handle this instead.

This is excellent to check app usage for a specific day but I was looking for someting to measure how many times each app is opened over a longer time period.

It has many features I don't need. Doesn't include its self in the stats list and shows network usage when my phone is completely offline.
