Easy to use. Yes, it's developed for older android software. Bit you can still use it. It does not update anymore. I got the same message as far as software issue but can still use it. It jist doesn't update. Another thing, if downloading torrents the vuze app has to stay open on the phone screen, and the phone cannot go to sleep. It does not run in background. It's old software but easy to use.

I had a 2.4 GB torrent that I wanted to only download one file, with the possibility of downloading the rest later, in order to not use all my bandwidth at once, so I unchecked all of the files except one. Vuze proceeded to download the whole 2.4 GB. When I looked at the files, only the first one, the only one I had checked, was complete. The rest were full of null bytes. Vuze had downloaded 2.4 GB of data and threw 90% of it away. What a waste of bandwidth. I was VERY unhappy.

You can not force a recheck. It says checking everytime it starts but it does not recheck. I searched through it and there is no way of making it do it. For me its useless.

Been a user for 7 years. Fantastic until I Paid for Vuze Plus 2 months ago. Since then (even after having the correct settings) it will automatically seed my torrents upon opening the app. Automatically. Even after pausing manualy.. I have to shut down the application completely. Doing so.. erases them from the lists on the application. Creating more of a headache. I'm very disappointed as this was my #1 for years. I Praised it.. now it's quite embarrassing. Too many issues that need fixed.

Been using Vuze since the Azerus days. Having the convenience of a mobile option is excellent. Don't know if there are any better torrent apps and don't care, rarely let's me down. After reading through the negative reviews I can say with certainty that 75 percent of the issues were user error/ignorance or device issues. The app gets a little laggy from time to time, big whoop it's free. People's parents.smh

Nov. 22, 2020: Little glitchee. Used for 100's of DLs. Very light footprint. Don't remember if I upgraded to no adds, or even if I had to, But my point is the other leading torrent DLs, my god, 25% if screen is stuffed with adds, making them useless. Not Vuze. It works in background, notifies when completed DL. Can open file to select/deselect files in Torrent in series batches so if you have an episode, you can exclude it by unticking it. And it hasn't been updated for years.

Doesn't search properly; nothing shows up in search when I search with it. I have to type it in myself, regardless of the browser; so, that means that, at least by default, nothing will dl using this app. Other users are apparently getting what I am sharing, through Vuse; but, I can't dl anything myself, making it, at least, virtually pointless having it taking up space on my device, let alone trying to use it too dl anything. I am very close to uninstalling. And I will if nothing changes.

Used this app for a very long time worked really well for me until I had to update my system software on my phone & now it will not recognize any torrent I have downloaded! It says "it's an invalid file" also states that "app is out of date & might not work"

Stops downloading most of the time if screen times off, or if you do something else with your phone. I've allowed running in background - still screws up. ( 16 year user of vuze and torrents )
