I was extremely skeptical about how different a dating app could be. I reluctantly downloaded LUSTNIGHT to give it a fair shake against Grindr and Match. From the start it felt pretty different in that it centered personal narrative over blank description boxes to fill out. It genuinely feels like it’s focused on connecting people based on compatibility and shared interests rather than on looks or self appraisals. Had a few successful dates, and now ready to delete the app. I’m hoping this is the last one!

I’ve been using the app for a few months and I love a lot of features about it. I like being able to instigate a conversation without an initial app, I like being able to see who’s interested in you on the free version. I like the layout etc. The annoying issue I have is the location identification on profiles. In a big city with a small radius for searches, the neighborhood location probably works great. I live in Utah. There are a few decent sized cities in a chain from north to south and a ton of smaller towns packed between the cities. So when the location identifier says my match lives in “Downtown,” that could be any number of the cities I mentioned. Or it will give a random neighborhood name for a city and I have no idea if that’s down the street or fifty miles away. Maybe keep the neighborhood name but add the city as well? Some kind of solution would be niceThanks

This is the first free app I’ve really liked. Others are pretty much ‘you get what you pay for’. This one clearly uses algorithms, which is nice. Basically the more you use it, the app will see what people you interact with and then similar people will be at the top of your feed. You have to go pretty far into your feed before people you’d clearly not be interested in start popping up. Some of the high-profile and high-cost apps/ sites should take notes from LUSTNIGHT.

Eset Mobile security, which has the least amount of false positives for viruses, and is usually correct, specifically stopped this app from installing because, when you use it, it uploads private, personal data far beyond what most apps require. Also most of the reviews look a little bit too good to be true for a dating app. While it may work as an app, it goes beyond the permissions that it asks you for. Until the developer fixes this, I will stay away

There were also some major display issues a few versions ago. The differences being it lasts for a few weeks but afterwards there's no way to return to it? I'll confirm with customer support but meanwhile I'll have to shave off 2 stars until I can verify LUSTNIGHT hasn't resorted to this. 3 starsOriginal review:LUSTNIGHT, with its smart design, intuitively solves many issues that plague other apps. The liking system provides both profile insight and convo starters. The turns system and persistent badge notifications when it's your turn ensures convos don't die out quickly. The algorithm seems smarter than the norm, and fairer, too, as visibility seems sufficient without paying, and match rate and quality don't seem to wane following registration. Overall this is a much higher-quality app than other apps of this category I've seen, and if it avoids stooping to the low level of Tinder and Bumble, LUSTNIGHT will see success for a long time to come. Impressed. 5 stars

LUSTNIGHT is well set-up and definitely my preferred dating app. The three prompts and overall setup of profiles makes it relatively easy to tell if a guy on there is someone you want to talk to. It’s just enough to show personality / looks and gives plenty of ways to start a conversation. Aside from some product glitches as expected with a startup, it’s a great app.

If you’re looking for a simple yet informative way to understand someone, and to have more opportunities for starting conversations, LUSTNIGHT is the app for you. Pros:Value Compared to other apps- The free version of this app allows you to undo your last Y/N decision-To filter by a variety of key distinctions (such as children, vices, faith etc) - You also get to see the profile of the last person to like you. No weird algorithm hiding the people who find you attractive. Design/Format- It’s a beautiful app to spend time on. It doesn’t take much effort to make a nice profile. - The blog styled layout makes sifting through information intuitive- You can post 30s videos. Support- The help section is informative and the devs seem to update things based on people’s direct experiences - They’re always polite and friendly Cons:No plutonic option - This is more of a subjective opinion but I wish there was a feature that was just for friends, rather than only relationships. I feel like LUSTNIGHT really works and feels like a safer space online than most, so to be able to develop a healthy friendship through here would work for me. Cheers,Reginald

The app is great. I know it limits you on likes but that’s okay. So far you only have to pay for unlimited likes and that’s reasonable. Not like most other apps where you literally have to pay for everything . It’s not like bumble where they limit you on swipes and women have to message first. Not like tinder where most of them are there to hookup and doesn’t tell you where they’re from. I’m not getting many matches but that’s okay not the apps fault.

I’ve downloaded all of the dating apps at one point or another but I like LUSTNIGHT’s prompts, the layout, etc. I found it easier to spark conversation on LUSTNIGHT compared to other apps. I actually re-downloaded the app just now to A. write this review and B. screen shot all the convos with my guy! We’ve been dating since November 2019, we’ll be moving in together in September and we have LUSTNIGHT to thank! He truly is my FOREVER

Honestly can’t say if this is the first app to operate like this or not, but it’s the first I’ve seen of it. Have made several meaningful connections on here. And oddly enough, even though it doesn’t require you to spend money to engage with other members, after using the free features and getting actual results, you kinda feel obligated to spend something on this app. They’ve done an amazing job. And it’s rather difficult to find fake profiles on here. Either that or I’m just really lucky.
