This used to be a good app, now the date disappears all the time, but worse yet, is that 3x a day it sends a notification. So unless I want to turn off the notification (which turns off the date) or turn the sound off on all my notifications, it's useless to me One of the notifications is at midnight, every night. I just uninstalled it. WTH??

Like everyone else. I like the app in general but it disappears daily and I need to restart the app. I don't see any solutions to this problem.

I'd give it 5 stars if the date didn't keep disappointing from the status bar. I have to go into the app pretty much daily, sometimes multiple times, just to get the date to show up. Worked great for about a year. Now the last few months, it won't stay up.

Like so many other users, I've been using this app for 7 years, and it worked perfectly, especially loved the day changing colors on the weekends. But since my Note 8, Android 9, in 2017, the colors no longer work, and I randomly have to manually start it. I paid for the PRO version way back, and even though the behavior is the same on my Note 20 Ultra 5G, I was just about to pay for the Pro version again until I read how many others this exact same problem has been happening, for a while now.

I've had for years but the date doesn't consistently stay on in the status bar... which was the whole point. switched to a different app because of this. i hung in there for a long while... did updates too. Just defeats the purpose to have to do that. 😕 Hopefully they'll be a fix where "on" means it really starts and stays on, without having to manually turn it on. FYI i stayed so long because nothing else was consistent either or as much. So that's a plus, we shall see how this new thing go

I am using date is status bar app. The date is displayed in top left corner where the icons of other notifications is displayed. Whenever there are more than 3 notifications, the date gets hidden. This happens almost every hour as there are lot of notifications that keep coming every hour. Please let me know if there is any solution to this problem.

Can u design this without the persistent notification? Or is it mandatory that any app that has a Status Bar Icon must also have an accompanying Notification in the tray, as dictated by Google policy for developers? If the latter this is the case please let me know & I'll change my rating to 5 stars since this matter is out of your control. *update 5/7/19. changed to 5 stars since the redundant notification rooted in the tray is mandated stupidity enforced by the GIA (Google Intelligence Agency).

Bait/switch app Every time you touch anything in the app you get a full page ad you can't close for several seconds. This is a bait app where dev posts a faulty app just to get as many ad runs as possible before the user uninstalls it. Dev should know users are not as clueless as he/she thinks we are. App fails on Galaxy Note 8

I have appreciated this small app for several years across multiple devices —both phone and tablet. But now it has stopped working for no reason I can discern. Aggravating.
