Not as good as a real hug obviously, but the hug bot is funny and the hug gifs are so cute. It managed to help me smile and chuckle a little during a stressful, sleepless night with depression. EDIT on 1-29-19: One of the things that I liked about this app was chatting with the hug bear, not long after I got this app that wasn't possible anymore. you used to type answers, along with the option to just select "birthday" or "comfort me" promps. Now it's only the prompts that's available
