The app doesn't connect the bar to my phone. Tried many times but it always fails. It shows WiFi password is wrong even when I enter the correct password. If I try connecting my phone to the bar's WiFi, it fails everytime. It's so frustrating that in 2021 I have to deal with this app that can't even connect devices.

Ricidulous! I've already added my YAS-209 to my Bluetooth connections. This app keeps asking me to add it. Even though it's added and connected to Bluetooth this app can't find it for some unknown reason. This is such basic programming. How can Yamaha fail at such a basic task. If they provide some guidance perhaps I'll actually be able to fully rate the app. As it stands, I can't even access the rest of the app because it thinks my soundbar isn't connected. There should be a way around this.

Edit: latest firmware Completely ruined Spotify!!! This app looks like it was created 10 years ago and never updated. The Soundbar control should be top front with all the functions on one screen, not limited controls that are separated in different menus. Also, volume percentage is a must because Yamaha soundbars doesn't have a screen!!!! It's really hard to work with the bars when you have to learn what every LED confusion blinking means. Also, where is the on/off timer?

I have heard some people have issues with this app, but the app worked exactly as expected for me. I think the UX could use some work to make finding soundbar controls more easy, but overall I prefer to use the app over the remote for my Yamaha YAS-209 soundbar.

The app can't even do the most basic function it was designed to do. It can't find find my ATS-2090 Yamaha soundbar. The soundbar has no alternative user interface to troubleshoot with. Lame. Would not recommend this product to a friend.

This app has issues with the connect as the app stops and you have to open up the app again and press play. It will try starting by it self on another song sometimes. Also it has issues connecting with 5g wifi so you have to make it connect on the 2g. Updated app and firmware, same issue exiat

This app does not connect to sound bar keeps saying incorrect password when putting in the wifi but it's not.

App now works with my soundbar after this new update... Don't even have to be on the 2.4G network you can be on 5G.
