The Thermo app helps you take care of your whole family’s health. Created for use with Thermo, the Nokia smart temporal thermometer, the app automatically syncs temperature readings for each user via WiFi or Bluetooth. Each user can then view a complete history of temperature readings on their timeline. To create a more detailed history, you can easily add extra information to each reading: Symptoms: Whatever and whenever you or someone you care for experiences a symptom, it’s easier than ever to keep track so you can relay this info to your doctor. Medicine: What did you take and when? Add medications administered to understand how they affect temperature and so you know when and if you need more. Comments: Add any additional notes that may be relevant to your temperature or illness. Photos: Strange rash? Feeling better? Select a picture from your phone’s gallery, or take a new picture to add to your timeline. The Thermo app also provides the following useful features: Reminder: Set a reminder to take your temperature at certain hours of the day or in specific time increments. Manual Temperature: If you don’t own a Thermo device, or simply want to enter additional temperature readings, you can do just that. Simply select “Manual Temperature” and add your details. If you log a high temperature reading, Thermo can help you assess the severity of your fever. Good but app limited. Would really like to be able to see an option to turn the temps scanned into a graph (maybe if the screen is turned into landscape by rotating the phone) and even an option to export the data to a Excel spreadsheet so it could be given to a doctor if needed. With the graph maybe then it could be screen shot and sent...??

This app has always seemed redundant. Why can't this functionality exist in the Health Mate app like every other Withings device. But now it has stopped syncing the data to the Health Mate app or even to this Thermo app. I have logged out and back in and one this actually worked, but now I have to log the temps manually. Withings, please address this languishing app.

It asks for personal details and location which i doubt are necessary. After disclosing unnecessary personal details, the set up step that requires placing a finger and pressing is found to do nothing. Set up cannot be completed and the devs can collect personal information. Time wasting and personal information collecting is the only outcome. It doesn't deserve the 1 star but the review requires a star assignment. Uninstalling.

The benefit of tracking temps, meds and symptoms via the app is invaluable when speaking to medical professionals that need an accurate history. However, there are certainly a few bugs in the implementation (both the thermo and the app). The biggest gripe I have is when both parents use the same account for each of their phones. The temperatures sync to the two applications just fine, but manually entered data (like medicine) does not.

It works like any thermometer. The sync to the app can be a bit tricky. You may need to use Bluetooth. WiFi has been slightly better lately. I find that BT works best. I've not seen it loose any data in daily use. I did notice that after the firmware update I had to factory reset the device to continue uploading info at all. (You'll lose whatever is on the device.) It did take a temp. Just couldn't share it. That was disappointing. Now it works well!

Absolutely insane you can't use the thermometer without the app. And when app tells you that it seems like there's connectivity issue (there isn't) so doesn't work, all you're left with is a dead, useless piece of plastic due to the design decision to make it useless without the app. 100% makes me less likely to buy other Withings products. The very very very least a thermometer should do is let you pick it up and take a temperature. You have failed this most basic requirement.

Sorry, but this Thermo app software is a garbage. I'm an experienced IT professional and despite all my gadgets are connecting to my home WIFI without any issue, this unit is not. So I set up bluetooth connection, then it worked once. After that, it stopped to sync. I regret I bought this expensive unit. Without the sync app it doesn't worth the price. I can't recommend it to anyone.

In theory, the perfect companion to the best thermometer. In practice, not always synched, and the timeline is really nowhere as useful as a temp chart. The time conversion of recent measurements to x ago is further annoyance. Pretty looking, but fully functional would be better.

I would not recommend this unit. As you might notice, the number of one start is significant. After spending hours trying to connect to my phone, I am returning the unit. Activating was never accomplished. Buying this is is playing roulette and the odds are with the house.

could be better. just for temperature works fine. however all the other features are halfhearted at best.Can't select and copy. specially medicine part: should be able to import medicament via barcode and be able to specify dosis. would be great if it could have an alarm for medicaments the same way for taking temperature measurements. it should be able to export data as to be able to email it to medic. the symptoms are very limited and should allow for free-form/others
