Update after using this app for over 18 months- I still love this app and is my main tool in my journey in learning Spanish. In addition to this app I also watch shows on Netflix & YouTube in Spanish, and I also practice on Italki. Recomendation, the beginner & Elementary levels both each have 100 lessons, then the lower intermediate level jumps to 180 lessons then the upper intermediate level has 140 lessons. Please add another level to keep each level a consistent 100 lessons.

In all honesty, this is the best Spanish app I've ever used. Personally, I took Spanish in middle school for 3 years, and my teacher didn't even go this in depth than that's needed to understand, read and talk Spanish! This app teaches you new words, and grammatical structures, how to identify this and that, ECT. And I love how after ever study session, they would give you a passage purely in Spanish for you to translate on your own! I'm so glad I found this, I hope this helps you guys as well!!

I think this is one of the best Spanish learning apps there is. And I've used all of them. Literally. It's layout and lessons are incredible. But, it contains a lot of errors (spelling, photos, etc) and it's not as immersive or visually appealing as some of it's competitors. Part of the draw is it's simplicity, but, I don't think the price is appropriate for the premium membership. It currently costs more than established and incredibly substantial Spanish language apps that it just isn't in competition with yet. But I do love it and I'm very tempted to subscribe, even at a price I see as high.. so that's something!

The grammar explanations are the most helpful part for sure. But for an app that I pay a subscription for though, there are quite a few questions that are very unclear and could have more than one correct answer, and therefore frustrating to be marked wrong, especially with the reading exercises. When the app reads correct answers it will skip to the next page before completing a sentence so you only catch the first half.

I know everyone loves duolingo, but this is truly one of the best language learning apps out there IMO. I'm not interested in simply memorizing some common words, which for whatever reason seems to be a focus of most apps. I dont know if they ever get around to sentence structure or how to recognize which gender to use for which nouns, but I get so bored with the endless memorization before I can even get far enough to find out. I feel like I'm actually LEARNING with wlingua, & highly recommend!

Love this app!! I was nervous about getting it, scared I wasn't gonna like it. I've done other apps for different languages and I was dissapointed. But this app is amazing!! I feel like I'm actually learning and remembering things. If you don't do this app probably the second best is Duolingo but this app is way better!! Duolingo is good for every language you want to learn where this is only for Spanish. Such amazing quality!! Loved it!!
