Since the latest update, (14th August 2021), it's suddenly a lot more boring & harder to get a high score. No more Fort Venture or Capriss Faculty missions, so I dropped my rating from 5 stars to 3. Expected more missions, not less!

Over all, the programmers did a fantastic job in terms of the gameplay and design. I love this game! (Edit below) I also wish the quests were a wee bit more unique. EDIT: I no longer have issues changing the gender of my character. (Thanks for help.) I will say that meeting ♀️ teammates or NPCs at the tavern still seems to be very rare compared to ♂️. This doesn't impact my enjoyment though. Thank you for the care that went into this game. It is exactly up my alley.

Some may not appreciate the difficulty of this game, but it's the charm. I also love the game's world, it's just mundane late medieval age. No gunpowders, magics, nor monsters. Every characters and locations has its own quest, which is great for replayability. I do have some problems with the game, and it's the lack of ways to gain resolve and the lack of weapons you can buy.

Pros: -Great writing and story, somewhat lighthearted but not afraid to slow down -Unique style of hex based combat, but having to move any time you aren't attacking does cripple some classes (*cough* archers) -Addicting Cons: -Poor party balancing, many classes and subs being flat out inferior to others unless a huge commitment is made -Most good runs are VERY long (3+ hours sometimes) meaning losing an ally or even a run is extremely crippling, and having to crawl back can be boring/repetitive

Surprisingly engaging game. I would love to see that with some multiplayer capabilities! Edit: I like the lastest update, but it looks offscreen on my new Samsung A80 since it is widescreen and also crashed one time. Edit2: Thanks for fast respond! Yeah I guess it is pain to check for such devices. PS Ihaven't played the game in a while and from what I see you fixed widescreen issues! Nice!

I agree with Ruben G on this one. I really really enjoy the game but the permadeath is a bit unfair. I feels like a punishment because you took the wrong gamble. And with emphasis on gamble, not a decision. On top of that the quests become a bit boring at a point. It is either kill bandits, bears, wolves or escort someone or buy illegal stuff or deliver documents. And I really got maxed out quickly because there was no better gear to purchase. I think the art however is amazing and the music is relaxing. I would recommend to remove the permadeath. I think it would be better if there was some way to escape battles you lost to fight another day. Like losing stuff in return for example. Also, introduce more items. I recognized the icons as I also browse Itch so I know you got plenty ;)

I really love the game and it's worldbuilding but I wish we could explore the mainland, the homeland of the empire. If not that, let us explore the western area of the Occident more.
