Still cannot use filters or textures. Every time I try to use filters or textures the app says no connection at this time.

UI is slow, photos are not automatically uploaded to google photos, the internal gallery deletes photos not selected, so even if you capture great photos and try to clean up and remove discards, you end up deleting the photos you want to keep.

The app is promising, but I won't lie, I expected more even after purchasing the filter package but I was unimpressed with how my pictures looked when using some of the filters. Maybe it's my phone or the picture quality, but I just didn't like how the results looked. I requested a refund from Google but they wont allow me the refund so now I'm asking through this review if I can request a refund. Please and thank you!

The black & white and images are good. Everything else is bad. There are no instructions, help, FAQs, nothing to tell you anything about using the app and settings. It has a dead link to the website b/c it's spelled wrong. When you figure that out and get to the site, it isn't formatted for mobile and doesn't render in desktop mode on Chrome either. There is nothing useful there other than some weird image that doesn't load, links for email, two social media accounts, and About. Didn't try the contact links but I'd be shocked if they worked. The About section is some ambiguous blurb about a collective of photographers and their "stories" but good luck finding them b/c guess what, no link or explanation of how. I've been in IT for 20+ years and haven't seen or worked with a single developer who could write good code or software that worked right if they fail at everything else involved with an app. It's as sloppy and mistake ridden as their non-existent attention to detail and work ethic. Obviously I uninstalled it and I don't recommend it. It isn't worth the hassle or time. There are tons of camera apps that are more professional and have support that do B&W very well.

Ok, so this app takes great pictures.. But everything else is terrible. They try to have you do everything from the app, and it's bad. No help or instruction sections. It WILL NOT save to your phone automatically. You have to go to share>other and upload to Google photos, And despite being able to select multiple photos, it will only allow you to do It one at a time. Very awkward to use. The UI is garbage, it's pretty, but laggy as heck and awful to use

Pretty good! Makes me want to pull out my old K1000! Annoying things: 1) Camera settings are lost between uses. Wish I didn't have to turn on the yellow filter each time I open the app. 2) Wish the images were just saved to the phone storage rather than accessable only from the app until xfered. 3) Blacks get crushed too easily: the curves on the exposure slider need to be adjusted to maintain detail in the darks...and in the whites for that matter. But for the price, I'm really happy with it!

The camera itself is amazing, but the rest of the app is laggy garbage. It USED to allow to pick a bunch of photos, and save to album which puts those pics in my camera roll, but that doesn't even work anymore. I can't even upload to Google photos because the pics are "in" my gallery but aren't actually in my camera roll to send or upload anywhere else.

For non-photographer to explore b&w: easy pleasing interface but is missing critical info/control: No histogram, and no info or control of shutter speed or iso. So you just have to trust the auto exposure and squint and guess while you're editing whether or not shadows or highlights are blocked out, and that'll depend on your phone's screen brightness. The ability to switch out digitally simulated color lens filters on a black and white live view, though, is really cool and a great way to learn.

Downloaded this app today. Took like three pictures with it and immediately purchased the filter sets and texture sets. This is my camera now! This is amazing! Lifelong photographer and used 35 millimeter my whole life and always preferred black and white, but I've struggled to find my place in digital photography until now. Highly recommend this app to anyone serious about black and white photography, especially with a smartphone! THIS IS YOUR APP! Thank you so much for this gamechanger!!
The Elusive Lady Rose
I love the effects the app offers and the pictures come out amazing however, the way the app is set up for saving photos is just nonsensical and not user friendly at all. I now have 5 copies of every photo I took in the app in the app's gallery. Yet none are in my regular phone gallery or Google photos....there's no clear directions to share the photos and it's not an automatic function either. Rather disappointing and a serious time suck.
