Great app. I'm unclear on why the app can't retrieve running apps though. I use other similar apps that have no special access or permissions that are able to. Still useful for my older devices. Edit: Figured that out. Too bad.

Great, low storage size, ready to use, clean, no nonsense task manager.

An excellent, light-weight, FREE app with no ads or extraneous permission requirements; unfortunately, in an act of pure greed, Google has ended this apps functionality from Android Oreo. Without this app, and others like it, Google cannot be prevented from bogging down your Android system in order to trick you into replacing your device. I think I'll replace my operating system instead. Thank you, ByteHamster, for what once was an extremely invaluable app.

Before I begin to say anything I'm currently running Lineage OS 16 Pie with root as well. Probably the best task manager out there. No ads, no flashy stuff like gain 50% more space or its time to clean your phone or perhaps even ask you to install another software because the app finds a virus. True and honest, this app tells you currently running process and how much memory you have left that's free. Easy to kill task one by one or all currently running process. Beware as it force stops an app so will stop whatever its doing. I do not recommend this app for beginners but a great tool for tech guys out there, it only takes up so little space!

Very good, the best task killer app I have ever found. And its capability of using root access make it even better. I don't care at all whether the app works in Oreo or Pie, because I am out of that 'upgrade crazyness' imposed by Google, as Lollipop fulfills all I need. I just don't understand why all the memory is not released right on the first time we click, because clicking again immediately releases even more memory. Well done dev, thanks for creating this app for free and without ads !

So, task managers are now dead to Google for Oreo on up. So many companies have removed countless "vanilla" Android features, it's ridiculous. A glaring example is Samsung, who has completely blocked adoptable storage, a very powerful OS feature which has been available since Marshmallow (even my cheapie Acer tablet supports it). You'd think they would want to enhance the OS, but instead keep removing function instead of adding it... I tell ya, it's a damned shame. My heart goes out to the developer of this app, for all of the work he's wasted in coding it. I used to use it all the time, very simple, yet effective.

Very clean and simple app to show running processes. Especially usefull now that Google goes out of their way to hide the running processes in settings. The only feature I would like to see added is the amount of memory used for each individual process in the running processes list.

Great UI , It kills some apps but some can't be killed.

Can do everything I'd expect from it: lists processes, can kill them individually and all at the same time, whitelist, and even has a home screen shortcut. It does need root access though because Google is being overprotective.

Does exactly what it is supposed to, closes apps and shows what is running. No gimmicks. Exactly as advertised. A task manager for android.
