This is a native Android application for openHAB's HABPanel dashboard user interface - an open source home automation system. This application is intended to provide a customized kiosk mode for the HABPanel user interface, a part of the openHAB platform. www.openhab.org Features include: Auto-discovery of your openHAB server, Home Screen/Launcher, Kiosk Mode, Integration to use and set openHAB "Items", Motion detection, Several screen control options, Volume control, flashlight control, ability to report various tablet sensor/statues back to openHAB Items, many more! Works on KitKat (4.4) and higher, some features are not available unless using Marshmallow (6.0) or higher. This app uses the Device Administrator permission. The purpose of this app is to provide a dedicated managed touchscreen control interface for the openHAB home automation system. Device Administrator permissions are required to allow for many features provided by this app.

Great app. There does seem to be a bug though, at least on my device (Lenovo tb_7305f), after a few days of display, it stops updating the screen and then when I restart it, it says that the app is not responding. Is there any way to debug this? I need it to be reliable! Thanks to the devs

Great app . I constantly get requested for a username and password every time i open this using openhab cloud. The openhab hab does not do this. Only this app. Highly annoying EDIT: Cant wait for the next version! Thats great news!

Awful app. This app completely hijacked my phone and would not let me back to my homescreen. It kept going back to the Welcome to Openhab 2 page. I had to put my phone into safemode and then delete the app just to use my phone again!

I tried option with HV acceleration and now it's working fine. As for now, everything is ok.

It works, just a minor issue because of the external images which do not work. They do in Chrome, they do not in the HABPanelViewer.
