What the permissions are used for: • WAKE_LOCK, to obviously be allowed to acquire wakelocks. • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED, to start the app after device reboots. • READ_PHONE_STATE, to act on start/ending calls, allowing the app to acquire a lock just for the duration of the call. • INTERNET, for automatic crash tracking. I do not believe that it solved the hardware problems with the software. My Galaxy Note 4 was revived by this software. Thanks to the developer of this app

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 owners -- Install Wakelock Revamp PowerManager to fix the rebooting, overheating issue. You can purchase a new battery for less than $10 which I also suggest. The Wakelock app has an option in Settings for the Note 4. All you have to do is select it. Since installing Wakelock my phone has had zero issue. I have run the Amazon Music app for hours with very little battery drain. All other apps are working fine and the phone HAS NOT HAD ONE ISSUE. I hope everyone who uses this app to save them from having to upgrade to a new phone joins me in donating to this developer (the darken). He deserves our heartfelt appreciation and support.

Compared with the original app, this one doesn't seem to work, at least it makes no significant effect. For example, with "wifi high performance" and "processor" locks held (and battery optimization for this app is off), I tried connecting to my phone via SSH (rooted, with SSH server running) when screen is off, it took multiple seconds to respond to each key press, it's nearly the same as without the app. While the original one can make the latency some shorter.

Very good app for note 4 users. YOU MAY NEED TO REPLACE YOUR OLD BATTERY. The battery on note 4 will cause problems that this app cannot fox or make worse. You need the gold 4500 batteries sold on ebay for 5 bucks. If you install this app and the battery drains faster you need a new battery. The app works great with a strong battery. That's why you see negative reviews. I just changed mine since the new app was draining too quick bit it was the old battery. Also use killapps to stop apps that drain power and keep phone awake. Wakelock already keeps it awake so you don't need more apps opened

Fixed my Note 4 issues - so really happy about that. Only comment is that the CPU lock pauses occasionally for no reason I can discern. I have disabled power optimisation but still happens. Not a big deal to switch it back on again. Saved my phone - thanks darken. Update. CPU lock pauses now seem to have gone away. All is very good and I for one am very happy.

I was ready to crush my Note 4 since it would go into a coma shortly after screen off. It would take twenty minutes with the battery out to even reboot. This app saved my Note 4. It actually works (unlike an app of a similar name). Battery use is only minimally more than deep sleep. Thanks guys

UNFKNBLVBL!!! ... just when I was ready to bin my Note 4 (Marshmallow update) .. random freezes, restarts, unable to boot, unable to turnon, had to remove battery for minutes before turning on, laggy, apps pausing, performed factory reset, cache wiping, etc etc, and then I stumbled across this app on YouTube, and BAM BAM THANK-YOU MAM!!! ...my phone is back to normal. .. Thank you!!! I don't care for the latest gagdets...and was upset about having to find a newer phone when my Note 4 started freezing, shutting down and killing the battery. This app fixed the issues immediately. I sincerely appreciate your knowledge and willingness to share.

Sir, I love your app please do something about Android 10. Is there is no way to implement all your app like function for Android 10. Please bring update for android 10. Thank you 😊❤️... Love to support your work also... But till now not working for android 10 even any function. Wake lock works, but when app is opened. Can you add the permission to change system settings. Might be then it works for the same.

Why do my locks keep getting paused? This app works great but occasionally my screen won't turn on. When it eventually does (without removing the battery), I go into the app and it says that the locks are paused and i have to press the play icon at the top to make them active again.
