Gallagher Animal Data Transfer for Android has been developed to interface to Gallagher hand held EID tag readers and W610/W810 weigh scales via Bluetooth. The application allows the user to extract session files and attach them to an email, in order to send the data to a PC without the need to connect the reader directly to the PC. The application also allows the user to easily send selected animal data directly to the NAIT (NZ), NLIS (Australia) or CCIA (Canada) national traceability schemes. Sessions can be renamed and their contents viewed once on the phone for greater flexibility while on the go.

Good app to pair with the scale and reader. Please add function of being able to sort after numbers when opening a session. I have herds of about 80 to 100 cattle and when sorting it's a pain to find certain numbers because their being so many. Thanks

would like to see a little more info than just the eid number in the sessions screen without having to go into each animal. eg. weight. prev weight. daily gain. etc. or better still make it customizable. The bones are there though.

Great app and easy to use however am struggling to get connected to my husbands iPhone it says on the wand it is connected but just keeps searching for device on the app.... can you help.me out?

I have developed similar app to use to connect with many tag readers (Datamars, Gallagher, TruTest, Allflex, etc) and working prefectly. And that app could take photos while scanning the rfid and can record the gps coordinate. Hope Gallagher app will have many features on the next release.

Awesome to have with you in the yards. Email numbers straight to agent, receiver or home computer from the yards instantly. Also makes reading the tag numbers easier. Better than trying to read the small numbers off scanner.
