The Alternative Fueling Station Locator app helps you find fueling stations that offer electricity, natural gas, biodiesel, ethanol (E85), propane, and hydrogen. Use your current location or enter a custom location to find the 20 closest stations within a 30-mile radius. View the stations on a map or see a list of stations ordered by distance from your location. Select your alternative fuel of choice and adjust the custom filters to fit your needs. This app gives me more EV charging stations than any other app. It shows the countless different companies/brands and shows their names. There's a Google Maps error that pops up every time but it doesn't seem to effect anything. There just needs to be an option to leave notes. Los Angeles.

Useless. Doesn't show status of the station. If you click on the address, it won't open Maps for directions. Not useful at all.

App is useful to find alternative fuel stations, although limited in functionality. It only loads stations if you enter a location. It would be useful if you could scroll the map to a location and have a 'search here' function like Google Maps. Also, it seems the Google Maps license of the developer has expired (again), since every time you open the app you get the message 'This page can't load Google Maps correctly.' Please fix.

Although some stations don't have E85 when the app says it does, I still am able to find other stations nearby. It beats going to the ones that im just familiar with in the cities/states I normally travel to.

If you look past the functional failure of the app, it has one huge benefit. Great source of information, especially on "non-network" (often free) EV charging points. Many fuels conveniently available. Far more extensive fuel Point Of Interest coverage than even Google has. But the functional failure is glaring and makes it obviously "broken". They're trying to use Google Maps but that costs money and they haven't paid. If this is public data, they should collaborate with Open Street Maps.

Very little usablity, map isn't fully operational. Hoped this would be a place to see all available charging options but it is not.

The locator on the map always malfunctions. I'm never able to use current location to find alternative fuel.

The app is pretty good. Mostly stable. I think the user interface is just okay, and I've actually come across a few locations that are not shown on the map. But that's what the users are for. This app is basically crowd-sourced. Would be cool to get a revamp in the future.
