Laid phone right on top of my Wi-Fi router and it read ZERO even after refreshing a dozen times. Never got a reading above ZERO no matter where I was. Funny, my phone showed full bars for Wi-Fi, so why can't this detector find the signal and strength?

Hi, I am bit confused about the unit of the measurement used. The ICNIRP based power density measurement uses W/m2 (Watt/metre square). If we convert it into uW/cm2 (microWatts/centimetre square), it becomes 1000000 uW/(100*100 cm2) = 100 uW/cm2 If we convert it into mW/cm2 (milliWatts/centimetre square), it becomes 1000 mW/(100*100 cm2) = 0.1 mW/cm2 So please clarify if you meant mW/cm2 instead of uW/cm2 as the measurement unit?

Never got to see if it works or not, I have a stock Moto X Style, you install & you're done. An app can't just CRASH as soon as you open it.? Did for me, not happy! Uninstalled. :((

This app does not read magnets as the other apps do. It reads actual WiFi. My router modem is in my closet with a sliding metal door. It reads higher than normal with the door closed but soon as I slide it open it rockets to unbelievable numbers. On the back side of the closet in the kitchen, when I turn towards the closet wall it rockets again between 200 and 500. I found 2.0 to be around normal in here. It does not seem to recognize my cell phone signal though. The fact that magnets don't set it off tells me it isn't searching for just electromagnetic waves. Thank you a million times over for this true app!!!

I was getting spooked about Wifi headaches! Used this app and saw that the radiation levels around me were more than 100 times higher with my Wifi router enabled. Aka, it's nice to get proof you're not crazy! Gotta move that thing further away or outside.

Most of us don't know wifi radiation and is units, also what range is safe level as per doctor not as per country Rules, just add such info on the screen so people can be caution with knowledge.
