When it works the sound quality is good. It often drops the call without warning or sound, either party will continue to speak until they realize the call is not working anymore. It was very difficult to get the app to register for the first time, it took many tries over several days to get registered. The interface is crude, primitive and unattractive. The app often competes with the native phone service to answer a call, both the native phone and the hot app offer buttons on the screen to answer the call. When this happens touching either the hot app or native phone button results in the call being dropped. Then I usually have to return the call to the caller via the app and it works. Without this app I have no hot mobile service in my apartment. This despite the fact that a hot tower is less then 400m away.

I installed this app after missing an important call because Hot cellphone reception in my apartment is poor. It was easy to install and operate. It works so far, but I'll need more than half a day to know if it gives me consistently good reception in my apartment. I'll update this review after I've tested the app more. The documentation said - it seemed to me - that when the app is active, I wouldn't be able to send or receive SMS's. But I tested that, and SMS's work just fine.

When I verify my number with the SMS code it says "some unknown error occurred on the server" Edit: Tried again today and it worked. So far so good. Call quality is excellent and it rings when I have no signal. Only complaints are it doesn't integrate with native wifi calling, and there's no sms so I still need to go on the porch for that

The WiFi calling from this app has horrendous connections, (I've used it from multiple phones and networks, several of the latter provided by hot as well.) The UI is terrible, and the app asks for a ridiculous amount of permissions. (Why does a calling app need access to my camera or photo album?)

unreliable and missing lots of functions, should be integrated with the system instead of trying to replace the phone app
