The functionality works as promised but is only useful for putting selected photos in a safe place for 30 days. The predecessor Canon Image Gateway was excellent, could make albums and view/share them but this image.canon does almost nothing. The limitation of 100 albums is not mentioned in the FAQs.

This service is absolutely rediculous, when my photos got transferred from their old service to their new service all my photos got compress to a disgusting level. I had over a 1000 high resolution photos and most of them got destroyed. I want to remove them from their service but can only download them 100 at a time and their is no way to automatically download the limit or queue them unless you count individually. You are supposed to be a professional service for professionals... Fix this 🤦

Useless. Every time I register and set up my camera it loops back to the login screen. This app is unusable. Emailed Canon for support, they asked me to phone them. It's 2021, phoning should not be the default. I have a hearing impairment so that's a no go anyway. I cannot believe that a big company like canon produced this rubbish.

I can't comment on how well the app works once you are registered to use it. I'm sure it would be great for some people but I found the initial registration process so long winded and complicated I decided not to bother for now. Why do you have to register on a PC? Presumably because the app links to the software on the PC? It also seemed that I could only use the app with my EOS and not with my SX, which is the camera I use most often as I can carry it around in my pocket. I think Canon can do better than this. Perhaps they need a simple, no frills app for us happy snappers and a more sophisicated subscription service for more serious photographers.

Horrendous. Unreliable and nowhere near intuitive in its design. Between the camera software and the Canon apps good luck getting these to connect up.

Not wonderful. It will not play videos created by the camera as they are not in the correct format!! Why is this? Canon camera, Canon app??? Unsupported format? Seems rather stupid. Will not upload movies to connected app, ie Google photos.

This does what it says. Transfers canon camera photos to your phone device. You do need to register your camera first, but that's a simple and free process. Thanks for delivering a good app.

Useless application . Registration is too long and annoying. I only need to transfer few photos from camera to phone. It is much easier to connect card directly to laptop and send to phone.

This new Canon cloud app is a MAJOR step backward from the Canon Image Gateway app it replaces. Same goes for the website that it interfaces with. You can no longer just share an album link. The app must now send an email message for a group of photos and it can't be texted. In addition, a maximum of only twenty photos can be viewed using the emaiI link. I hope Canon is paying attention to app ratings because there is also no way to provide feedback or get help for the app or website. KrAPPy.
