Aerial TV is an offline receiver for DVB-T and DVB-T2 signals via a USB tuner. You don't need data plan or WiFi connection. Aerial TV works by picking up local digital signals off the air with a regular antenna. It supports MPEG2, MPEG4 and HD reception where available and offers EPG functionality. You will need a low cost USB tuner hardware. You can grab one online for less than €10. Make sure to get an rtl-sdr RTL2832 tuner. When it arrives, just connect the provided antenna and start receiving. You may need a USB OTG cable to plug the tuner in your Android device. USB OTG cables are inexpensive and easy to find. Aerial TV allows you to try all features for free during the 30 minute trial period. After the trial period ends, you can make a one-off purchase to lift the time restrictions. Note that your Android device must support USB OTG. If unsure, do a quick search online or consult your Android device manual. Also check that there is DVB-T/DVB-T2 signal in your local area by doing a quick search online. DVB-T2 reception is only supported with compatible R828D dongles. Signal needs to be strong enough for Aerial TV to pick it up. For best results use an outdoor aerial. Please note: Aerial TV is the software part of DVB-T/DVB-T2 hardware receiving equipment and does not bundle or provide any content. Aerial TV does not work without an attached USB hardware. Signal is provided by the end user via a USB hardware tuner so Aerial TV cannot guarantee reception. Is this an app for one device only? I paid for installation on my smartphone but later I installed on tablet and got an information that there is limited time period? ..... In few days I will check once again - I found the following information in "all reviews": Yes, once unlocked, you can use the unrestricted version of Aerial TV on all your devices that share the same Google account even after reinstall. " - I patiently waited for several hours and now it works fine for me on both Android devices! Very nice app. One suggestion for new version: would be great if Channel Search Manual Mode could add channels to the existing list, not only replace. My tuner dongle is old: Not Only TV LV5DLX DVB-T USB.

I downloaded this recomended app for my new dvb tuner, only it says no data available, can you please put the data on your site so I can get it and watch aetial TV otherwise this site is a waste of time.

Im aorry but it's not detecting anything. And I know I have a good antenna and I should detect signals, because if I go into an SDR app I can see the Broadcasts. And yes... they are DVB-T not DVB-T2, I checked the Broadcast Tables.

Excellent App! I echo many other reviewers who found that although their little cheap and cheerful OTG DVB-T tuner did not work with it's own App - it suddenly came alive with this App working across all my android devices. To pay less than the price of a cup of coffee to be able to watch TV anywhere there is a service is a no brainer to me. Nice work Developers!

App works to receive and view TV channels via a USB TV tuner dongle attached to an Android device. However the application user interface can only be controlled in a touchscreen scenario. It would be a very nice feature to enable the app to also be controlled via up, down, left, right, OK and back key inputs for use with a remote control on an Android TV box.

Really like this app, just 1 small niggle...I use it on my vehicles in car entertainment unit and find it annoying that every time I start the car, the app starts. A feature not allowing it to auto start (like DAB-Z has) would be greatly appreciated

Great app, it works with the blue dongle. I hope though for a built-in signal strenght and quality meter. Can't find it anywhere.

App need some update after purchase I still unable to use full potential of this app I can't able to set full screen and when I change channels it ends up with no signal even it shows strong signal at top left corner. If it fixed I will change my rating please update this issue.
