I love this app. It's not over complicated - it just allows you to change the look of icons, titles, rows and columns etc. I would give 5 stars if there were 3 small improvements. 1. You allow icon resizing but not resizing the description, so they are often too long to see. 2. You only allow the home screen to be on the left. I prefer it in the middle. 3. There is no way to change the background of folders, so they look odd, especially when you can change literally everything else!

Good minimal launcher. Love the style and feel, but could use some work. When Auto rotating to portrait or landscape, it doesn't update the icons properly and then the search and news feed bleeds over into the home screen. Everything goes back to normal after you tap the screen again. Not a fan of their search, rather have the Google search. Having to load my browser to do a simple search is inconvenient. This can be worked around by using the Google search bar widget. Aside from these things, I enjoy the launcher.

I love it! A bit strange to use at first (as all new launchers are), but it's super simplistic, and easy to use once you understand it; and, best of all, refreshing! Very secure as well. Able to lock the screen, disable the biometrics on lock with only a type of pitch or gesture on the home screen, it's extremely great. An awesome mix of utilitarian and simplistic design.

Over all,I like the launcher, though I've noticed some lagging from time to time. My only real complaint is with the news feed. There is a setting for customizing what you see but I don't think it does anything. I intentionally did not turn on the politics category, yet so much of the feed is a bunch of BS from everything from Fox to CNN and even worse, BuzzFeed... Evie doesn't have any option to select things in your feed and set as "not interested". I wish Evie allowed you to just use the regular Google feed.

Evie is an absolutely wonderful experience. i've been using it for a little over a year now, and i got most of my family using it, as they prefer it over stock android as well. It has a minimalist design, and a sleek interface that you'd think was forged by the gods. Overall, Evie is the best launcher ive ever used, and i have absolutely no intentions to switch any time soon.

Evie launcher is very smooth and somehow manages to speed up old phones while still looking beautiful. It works very well for me but I found one problem. For some reason, Evie launcher crashes when you try and navigate through the launcher when using a controller of some sort. I use a bluetooth gamepad. It works as it should for a couple seconds, and then the launcher crashes. I would like to see a fix in the near future and then I will change my review to five star :)

I've used Android exclusively my entire life, and I dived into launchers as soon as I got my first phone many years ago. I've gone through dozens of them and none come close to the simplicity, light weight and cleanliness of Evie. This launcher is absolutely amazing. It's fast, it's super easy to use, it's more than customisable enough, and its gorgeous, and nothing has yet been able to replace it on my phone.

This is an awesome app, but it's a shame someone had to make it in the first place since default launchers got so bad. The style is great, the usability is superb, and the mascot is adorable. I'm told there's other nice features I don't even use, but 5/5 already. My only criticism would be that I don't think "new apps" in the app store should be on by default. Oh, and maybe a more obvious way to get to the evie settings, that took me a minute. Maybe an initial setup screen when you install?

After spending time on probably a dozen of the most popular launches, Evie won me over as it was among the easiest to use, most customizable, and least buggy. My one recommendation is that the staff revamp the news page and algorithm. I put in the news sources I want to see, though many others still come through. Google feed with maps/traffic updates and sunrise/sunset times are a few of my favorites that I'd want to see. Thanks for being free and better than the competition!

Had used Evie long back and didn't like it that time. But the launcher has come a long way. It is now smooth and responsive. Gives a great look to the phone and is very user friendly. The customisation options provided are really good and I'm able to configure the launcher just the way I want. Thank you team Evie. One request: please provide an app drawer with tabs. I like to keep my items in tabs.
