Excellent concept! The visualization of kanji as the little beasts helps me remember every detail of the kanji shape and the fusion helps to remembember the radicals. The download did last quite long (almost whole day on an ultra-fast wifi) and the resume feature doesn't help much. I recommend separating the download content into multiple parts that could be downloaded gradually as the player passes through the levels. What I REALLY miss in this app is the detailed information about kanji that would help me remember the details such as translation or the kanji name (==reading) visible at all times (e.g. when in a battle). The same case with yukugo, I can't remember the reading nor the translation, I just remember how to write it. It would be easier to see the translation and/or reading everytime when I use the particular yukugo. After solving these issues/features I would be happy to change my review to 5 stars, even buy the payed version :)
