Functional but extremely flawed. Great idea, and it does work with CDJ900 Nexus... however there are many problems with this app. My biggest gripe being you can't add a folder to automatically import, or just import a folder, you have to either import every single music file on your phone, or select tracks one by one. This means either you end up with random ringtones that came on your phone in your collection, or you spend hours unnecessarily selecting tracks. Poor implementation. Could be 5*

Well, coming from ios to android, it is clear that pioneer has focused more on ios users. Rather disappointing, because I've been using this since it started. Apple's version is on point. Android's version hasn't evolved for a couple years since I had an android before. Would be nice to see consistency between the two OS's.

this would be a really useful tool but profesional Djs will always need to things. 1. the ability to use our biggest storage(external sd in this case) 2. the ability to play 2 decks at the same time so we can prepare better matches for shows. Give us those 2 things and you will have one of the most useful app for professionals ever!!!

This used to work well with Rekordbox 5 on Windows 10 to import my playlists and add cue points etc on the go. Since "upgrading" to rekordbox 6 and updating the android app I can't transfer music through Rekordbox for Windows and the android app crashes every time I try and import music directly from my phone. Poor excuse that it is too complicated to develop the app for android - other companies manage it with no problem.

why can't I find a 2 player mode? This is key to sorting and and arranging tracklists. I see that it's an in app purchase (which is silly) but I still can't find it. 2 player mode is a must. If not available for Android then very poor form on Pioneer's behalf.

Pretty much useless. Can't even rekord anything. They've sort of answered why the Android version sucks online. Basically, dealing with non-standard hardware is too hard. Think about it, to create an ios app, you know that it will ONLY be running on an Apple Iphone or IPad. If you create an android app, it could be running on HTC, Samsung, Google, etc. Hardware and that creates a lot of challenges. Now, is that an excuse? No. This app is branded as working with ios AND Android . It doesn't...

Worked for a while. Howver, after the last update, it now won't connect to my WiFi to allow me to share files from Rekordbox desktop to the app. Can't preview tracks on the go now, so pretty annoyed. WiFi is working fine with all other apps on the phone, just not Rekordbox. It just says my device is not connected. Rubbish!!

What you need to do - Add USB support over OTG adapter, so Memory points, cues and playlists can be set or edited on a pre existing USB. Then when the usb is connected to RB, the data is uploaded, the same way as it would had the cues been done on a pioneer device, sometimes I want to edit cues or a playlist on my USB device when I get an idea away from home, and this would be ideal.

Pioneer needs to add the same functionality to the Android app that you get on even old versions of iOS! I don't want to fill my tablet or cellphone memory with music to spin tunes, I just want to be able to use it to connect my Android tablet/cellphone and browse easier through my USB Rekordbox playlists like you can on Apple devices... I was really disappointed Poineer doesn't have the same features on the Android app as they do on Apple...

Pioneer, it's 2019. Phones aren't small anymore. Please update the interface of this app so it looks as cool as the recent versions of Rekordbox on PC/Mac. Please note that most modern Android phones are have a screen that is 5-6 inches. Please take advantage of present technology and make use of the USB-OTG adapter. I'm sure there are a LOT of DJ's that would appreciate being able to plug their USB flash drive to their phone to make quick updates to their playlists & tracks prior to a gig without needing to pull out their laptop. Features like this would be very useful. I'm giving you 4 stars being hopeful for some newly added features as well as an interface/UI updated for today's smartphones.
