Become a rookie boxing manager with something to prove, working to establish a stable of talented fighters to take on the world – in LEATHER®: Tactical Boxing Management. Recruit promising young amateurs, established professionals or retired veterans, challenge favourable opponents, and train your fighters for upcoming bouts. Matches are won or lost depending on the strategy and tactics you devise, so it’s crucial to analyse both your combatant and your opponent to create the correct fight plan. Winning bouts will move your boxer up their respective weight division rankings, to eventually challenge for the world championship belt itself. But the boxing world is a slippery one; losing bouts will delay your ability to challenge others, ruining your momentum and allowing other promising stars to challenge your position. Suffering injuries during bouts will lower your boxer’s subsequent fitness, meaning they will be less effective in the next bout unless given time to rest and recuperate. Boxers you seek revenge upon might shift weight division, foiling your plans for immediate payback. Different boxers peak at different stages during their careers, and as time passes your boxers will age and their abilities will wane. Young, fresh-faced opponents will rise through the ranks to challenge your dominance, and wily old campaigners will battle on long passed their best, eager to show they’ve still got it. The path to glory is not always clear, and it is up to you how you form your fighters’ careers. Do you ambitiously rush them up through the rankings – challenging as high as you can each time, or do you favour a steadier approach – building your boxer’s skills over more contests? Do you favour the breathless punch exchanges of the lower weight divisions, or the thudding power of the heavier ones? Will you dominate in one weight division for a decade, or will you shift your fighters from division to division, capturing as many titles as possible before their skills begin to wane? Not gonna lie, this is a pretty fun game to mess around and kill time with. Might consider getting the full version. Kind of an irrelevent question im about to ask since there's really no character models or anything, but any thoughts of adding something akin to a "choose a gender" option, at least for exhibition? Some of the fantasy fights i think of include female fighters, and it kinda feels weird to me seeing a female being described as he/him. Maybe also include intergender fights as well.

I know it's a boxing manger game but you should add a career mode where you can chose the name and where there from and chose what they said in press conferences and what they do in the weigh-ins etc....

Pretty good Sim. I'm not fully aware of boxing rules but this made it very easy and simple to understand. With contracts every time I offer a counteroffer they always deny so I just end up signing to the original offer. Also can I buy the premium version and have my free versions saved data carry over? I'd hate to restart.q Other then that, very happy with the game.

I love this game. I played the Lite Version for awhile before installing the full. It's fun and easy to play with plenty to do and no microtransactions which makes it even better.

Listen I've owned this game since March of 2019. It has only steadily gotten better. I made a suggestion to the sole designer of this game (great guy btw he really cares about the game ) that he move the fight plans to the top so you dont have to scroll down constantly and he did. The game itself is the best sim style sports game on phone. Period! He is always looking to improve the game and make it even better. What more could you want from a designer let alone one who does it solo.

Wonderful sim, deep, tactical and stimulating. Nuanced enough to keep me on my toes and wondering "what if?". Many, many variables to consider and not a thoughtless idle app. This app deserves a PC port (and a selfish part of me wants a portrait mode so i can play casually with one hand). Only small gripe was that there wasnt a game guide for tips on selecting a promising fighter. My guess is that just comes with experience. Overall great app. Many thanks to the lone developer!

Its a great game, but why does it take so long to transition from week to week?? Even loading up a boxer takes about 5 seconds. I thought it was just my phone but I had my friends download it and same for them. Not worth buying when you can be stuck on the game for an hour from just simming a few weeks.

This game is extremely well done, lots of options and depth without getting overly complicated. I must admit I didn't realize it was just a demo when downloading it but it lasted long enough that I felt like I got a good game's play out of it. I would RECOMMEND BUYING if this is your game style.

I'm an O.G. when it comes text based sports sims, and Leather (despite its flaws) is one of the best. It nearly has the depth of WEVL boxing (an old MMO browser game) but the GUI is designed in an intuitive, user friendly way. I'd recommend this game to any boxing or sports fighting fan.. the reason i give only 4 stars is because of some minor GUI issues, such as inability to delete saved games and some redundancy with menu clicking. Id love to see the engine adapted for other fight sports.

This is an extremley fun game and I plan on getting to full version shortly. My only suggestion would be to add a description of each stat within the player/boxer menu, most likely through clicking the stat (like clicking agility or hand speed would bring up a description of what it exactly does). If it exists I've yet to find it and if it doesn't currently exists I believe it would help people better make descisions when building up a characters stats. Also loading times. Overall gr8 game tho.
