I really mean this, I have recently just had my nexus 5 was pretty disappointed that I could not access my nas box from this phone like I could from my S3. I was browsing the apps page stumbled across this seen the good reviews thought I'd give it try I was amazed how fast I can browse my 500+ film library and how fast the film loads and in all true 1080p. Defiantly a keeper. Thank you dev awesome build.

I downloaded a bunch of rubbish ad funded video apps before hitting gold with this one. Upgraded to paid version after 5 minutes. Love the control the interface provides. I just have one feature request. Most of my video use is to film my kids doing sports and then using slow motion to replay their movements so they can improve. Would be great if the playback speed (and other attributes such as force landscape /portrait) Had check boxes to make them sticky - - so I don't have to set them for every view

After some trouble installing the app on my tablet, it works great. I love that you can hide all the junk that you don't want in your library, and you can speed up playback... super awesome! UPDATE: Does not find videos anymore. Crashes when I finally find when the files are and try to play one that used to work.

After downloading garbage apps such as avi video player, i stumbled upon this app. Clean interface, moderately user configurable and it doesn't require too many permissions. So, why do these other garbage video apps have such a hard time doing the ONE thing their supposed to do? Worth your time, give it a download!

This worked okay as it would just freeze at times but played the avi files I needed. Too bad it's just a trial and now I'm prompted to buy it. Hard to believe that something as simple as playing avi files is not built in to the android os. Uninstalling the app since they don't tell you this or I missed that.

Have had problems with my galaxy tab S (l .love it. . It's the. Best ...but ) ANDROID 4.4.2 causes major problems with video formats and General sd card new rules. I tried all the best ones, even VLC. I don't know how, but VPLAYER just played my SD cards video movies and TV .shows. I was also suitably impressed with it's features which were as close to MX players. Very happy. It has saved the day. I will be recommending this great video app as both a fix and generally good to us. 😆. Daz 👍

The dev could help me out. I don't fully understand what altering the buffer size does? I've tried altering it to a large percentage but the play point would still eventually catch up to the buffer. A little help would be great.

It was promised that VPlayer will be free forever. I don't mind buying good software for a few bucks, neither do I mind donating to free software developers. I do mind liars. You have better abandoned vplayer as free forever, and start over with another player. That would be honest. The thing you've done is dishonest.

THE GOOD. Vplayer (free version) is the best player I found on the market so far. It's even better than any paid player. I like the fact that you can change The Players quality level depending on your WiFi signal & I like that you can change the buffer size. I also like that I can play in the background. THE BAD Reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is because you have to pay $5.00 for a unlocker to use most of the apps features.

I really like this app, just a few improvements please 😊. Id really like a "mark as finished" option like in MX player and also swipe to skip. I find the audio support is the best of any of the apps I've tried. Lastly, sometimes the video stops (although audio continues) and I have to back out and go back in to fix it. Not a major issue but a bit annoying nonetheless.... Keep up the great work 😆
