Sensors e.g. Air/Sea temperature, Air Pressure and Humidity, Heel and Pitch. Includes an Anchor Watch with audible alarm and a rudimentary AIS screen which will improve over time. Connect to a SignalK server and/or and NMEA-0183 data stream via wifi and read important navigation data anywhere on your boat. Connect SmartBoat with www.smartboatnetwork.com for remote monitoring and see your boat's instrument data from anywhere in the world. Display depth, speed and GPS position in various formats, display True, Magnetic and Apparent angles. Turn on night mode to preserve night vision. Swipe to view more instruments and customize the selection and order of instruments. Note: SmartBoat does not support NMEA 0183 via UDP, only TCP is supported. An NMEA 0183 data stream source must provide the stream via websockets or raw TCP server. SmartBoat acts as a TCP client only not as a server. This is a free to use Beta version with no advertising. - Re-enable the AIS Special instrument at the request of a user. Go to Settings -> Instruments, select an instrument screen and add a special instrument and select the AIS instrument from the special instrument list. IMPORTANT!! the AIS instrument does not perform collision detection nor give any kind of warnings or alarms.

The most useful SignalK instrument app on Android. I hope the developer continues to improve it, for now my Apple devices have better options.

has great potential as the displays are clear and concise. it connected right away to my signalk network and showed the exepcted gauges and values.... then crashed. on looking at the app log a Facebook service was mentioned. (they scrape everywher) Not convinced I need a subscription service though for ais, as this is catered with a receiver and open cpn without payment.

The authors don't seem to appreciate that boaters are often out of comms range. Forcing a registration before is not on!

crashes if you add any new instruments. default instruments work fine. Fixed.

Two stars for the simple clean layout, the only one I've seen with black-on-white displays, essential in sunlight. Otherwise a long way to go, clunky setup, awkward connections, partial information. Could be worthwhile though, so keep going, will watch that space...
