I don't know why they make this app, but I'm glad they do. It works really well. I've had the official service-provider apps fail to connect to their own servers, then I've opened this app and it connected me to their servers with no problems at all, quickly and effectively. Very nice. And free. Ad-free too! 5/5 all day long. Thanks!

This works perfectly if you want to use a lean simple app, and stay connected to the same server no matter if on wifi or mobile connection. Also note, this app should be for advanced users only. You will need to disable battery optimizations to avoid disconnects/crashes (this will cause more battery drain). And also select auto start/launch in the app settings, if you want it to connect after a reboot.

Why can this start up at boot, or if running, restart on boot as it says it will do? Never over 3 Android phones found this to be true. Totally useless if phone boots up, you are near a previous used open wifi you use constantly, like the library. You have to login to the phone manually start Open VPN. As much as I have come to dislike iOS Apple's too tight control over apps, you can at least start automatically on boot a VPN on iOS.

Asks about missing certificate every single time. Zero configuration options for VPN. It connects and the network is completely on the original network. Knowing tons of clients, this one must be the least usable.

Doesn't work. Simple as that. Connects but no data throughput. I've wasted hours fiddling around trying to make something happen. Then I discovered the OpenVPN client by Arne Schwabe which worked perfectly first time. I'm just about to remove this useless app and will use Arne's in the future.

Complains about there being a missing cert file on every connection, but it's there! I see it with my eyes. It's right there at the bottom of the ovpn config file. I get this alert on *every* connection attempt. I have to tap to bypass it every time.

I am using Openvpn from last 1 year, this is the best vpn for custom connection. But when I have to connect the vpn every time I have to enter into the app for connecting to a server, I'm asking that if there is a button on notification panel for directly connect to the vpn server without entering into the app then that should be a great option for users who uses this application. So, if this is possible then please add a notification panel button for connecting the vpn.

1.Like most of other VPN apps, This app should have an option to set which apps will using VPN connection. By default it run VPN over whole system, But this feature is useful for users who does not need to use VPN for some apps. 2.Where is the VPN tile in notification center?! 3.Apply VPN to tethering traffics.

Does not re-resolve hostname when switching network, which I need when leaving my house (switching from internal to external ip). Attempted reporting this bug by email, got told they don't support the app, only the server software.

Good app, this is my favorite app. It would only be better if it had both a widget and a shortcut on top of the mobile for faster access for activation and deactivation.
