I love this app since day one. My carrier was charging me a ridiculus price to have hotspot services enabled on my phone line. When I installed the NetShare+ Wifi Tether app on my phone, the setup process and connection was seamless and easy. Very reliable app for the price. Will recommend to anyone that cannot afford monthly payments for hotspot services.

Works most of the times but some devices won't see the wifi signal. I have a Roku TV that won't detect the wifi network from NetShare. And my PS4 connects with no internet. So far this app is disappointing.

Do not bother. It may have some censoring built in. That is, several firearms websites that I tried to visit got an error code as an "SSL that exceeded maximum permissible length". At other times it would just drop the connection. Will continue to play with it to see what gives. May be it was just a fluke.

Configured it and connected but says connected, no Internet. So anyways it doesn't work. Neat idea

I am amazed. it works. So you have to install it on both devices, but I had no hotspot to add it, so I got 'appshare' too, and shared them both via bluetooth, and literally within moments I was in business. Very nice app -- both of them! This was a fun learning experience, I can duplicate this procedure anytime, not sure how it would work to set up a PC, but I think it would work fine.

My biggest complaint is that you have to Google "Connect android using the proxy" in order to use this on anything other than devices that have this app. Also, the app sometimes doesn't even connect and I have to do this. I would suggest this app to those who know how to Google. Other than that, I would suggest avoiding this app. It is not that user friendly. Would also be nice if this can connect via Bluetooth in order to get the app on the other device if it's not installed nor have internet.

I'm not sure what happened. The free version let's you have whatever SSID and password you want - and WORKS, albeit timed. The paid version has a pre-selected SSID and a password you cannot custom configure. I've also not been able to get it working since I paid for it.

Did not work for me at first. Finally worked on my Linux pc after tweaking the proxy settings. This app works best for me than the other. Connected to Android tablet without installing the app. Select the wifi and put in the password then click "Show advanced.." Use these settings or whatever Host the app Help says use. / Proxy = Manual / Proxy host name = 192.168.49.1 / Proxy port = 8282 / Bypass proxy for = 192.168.49.1 / IP settings = DHCP I'm happy camper now. The hotspot I pay for thru provider is down for tower repairs. My only complaints. When the password uses I and l. Can't tell an uppercase "i" from a lowercase "L". I just keep selecting a new one until those are not used. Also don't like that the hotspot name changes after disconnecting. Otherwise, rating would be 5

tried to place password in both security key and network key on computer both failed to connect. could not change password so i uninstalled. just use your native tethering it will be easier

works as described my last phone allowed hotspot but broke so i bought a cheap LG and it blocks the hotspot features even though I use the same GSM SIM in this as prior phone w/hotspot... this app saves me from rooting or other extreme forms of unathorized bypass.. also the fact it hides the use of this apps feature is half the value of the app otherwise a carrier would throttle the **@P out of any one caught using this without "permission" at the least.
