Description: Ever missed an important call or message as you forgot to set your ringer back to normal mode after the meeting, movie or other situation where you muted your phone? Use "Mute a While" and that will never happen to you again! "Mute a While" is very useful during meetings and other situations where either Ringing is not allowed or not appropriate. It allows you to simply silence the ringer of your phone for a specified amount of time and once the amount of time is elapsed, the ringer automatically switches back to normal mode. With this app, forgetting to switch back the ringer to normal mode will belong to the past and you will never miss again that important call that could change your life! Features: - Mutes ringer for incoming calls and notifications for specified period of time - Ringtone volume is automatically set back to the original volume after expiration of the set time - Vibration mode on/off for incoming calls and notifications during the muted period - Home widget for quick access and user feedback How to use: To mute: - Open the application or click the home widget. - A screen appears with a time picker showing the default time the ringer will be switched back. The default switch back time is the current time plus the Default Mute Period set in the application preferences. Also a checkbox is shown to turn the vibration mode on/off for incoming calls and notifications during the muted period. - Clicking the Set button will Mute you ringer immediately and arrange switch back and the specified time. To un-mute before time period elapsed: - Open the application or click the home widget. - The screen appears again, however it proposes the current time as end time for the mute period. - Clicking the Set button will switch the ringer of your phone back to normal immediately instead of at the earlier set time.

I've been using this every couple of days now for the last few months. It is SIMPLE and RELIABLE. Obviously I love it. I used to manually mute my phone during a meeting and quite often forgot to un-mute which resulted in frustrated people trying to reach me. Its the best app on my phone.

This didn't work at all. I followed all the directions, enabled all the permissions, and it didn't return my ringer volume after the given time. I don't know why.

Very well made and very useful app. Only a small note, when the minutes are decreased, passing from 05 to 00 it rightly also decreases the hour. Vice versa when increasing, passing from 55 to 00, it does NOT increase the hour. I hope it gets fixed in the next release. ***** Thanks

Used it for years, just stopped working. Mutes, but doesn't unmute as scheduled. Based on feedback from the developer, am installing a newer version. Will report back.

Used to work great and restore my ringer at a set time, now it doesn't turn back on and I missed my alarm, the whole of the app is to automatically turn ringer on after being on dnb

I used Shush for years. I really mis that app. Mute a while, while not quite as polished is functional and user friendly. So far best replacement for shush I've found.

Have tried several times to use this. It simply doesn't work. Either it doesn't turn the volume off, or doesn't restore it when the time is up. Have uninstalled.

Very nice app. Lost one star only because it will only go to mute/vibrate rather than just mute even though the options are for mute only Samsung J7.

Not helpful at all. Don't need to mute until some specific time. I need to mute FOR a specified time.
