RuterReise: Ruter’s official travel planner RuterReise helps you find transport from A to B by buss, tram, Metro, ferry and train in Oslo, Akershus, Buskerud, Hedmark, Oppland, Telemark, Vestfold and Østfold. See a summary of your journey, see walking distances, stops, sales outlets for tickets and city bicycle locations on the map. See updated departure times (in real time) from stops and see information on any disruptions relevant to your journey. Other RuterReise features: You can: • Save frequently used addresses or stops to get one-click travel suggestions. • Use the widget to see updated departure times (real time) without opening the app. • Receive push notifications in the event of major disruptions. • Save a planned journey, and receive an alert when you have to leave. • Filter the transport mode you want to travel with. In order for RuterReise to work optimally, the app needs to access certain features on your phone. You may choose to turn these accesses off, but some of the app’s features will be unavailable. It seems like they've prioritized gameification at the expense of usability and intuitiveness. I can't figure out how to do basic things like plan a trip a few hours ahead of time. Deleting until they improve this.

So long story short use google for directions instead of this app. Its user friendly to a point but just found this app to be inaccurate at times(telling us to take a ferry when the pass doesnt cover the ferry) wrong stops for the wrong location. Then i turned to google where its accuracy for times and locations are more accurate than this app. i just found it funny a company not affliated with the transport system is more accurate and easier to use.

Can't add a credit card. I tried both by using the camera and filling it in manually. In both cases i fill in all the details of the card and tap "save card" button Then the "Save Card" screen closes and the card is not added nor saved. (I'm trying to add a master card, which I've used with the Ruter app before.) So i ended up buying my monthly card on the old Ruter card instead.

Why do you assume i enter the location of my destination first, why do you assume i have my location on all the time to find the closest bus stpp? I used the old app for years and it was great, it had fewer steps to go from place of origin to where you want to go. I understand that you want to integrate everything into one app, but you should have tested it before release.

The app does it's job fine. However, I'd like to give some feedback: - Loading pages in the app is really slow (current gen phone). The latency can cause problems during ticket inspection, as I have to remember to preload my ticket as it might not load on time otherwise - If I use "my location" when buying a period ticket between two zones it will display the correct zones, but the ticket will not include the zone starting at "my location". EDIT: works better now

An ok transportation app that does not entirely live up to its predecessor. It's simpler than ever to buy tickets. However, the ticket inspection screen does not work offline nor is the ticket shown when offline. Why is it not cached on application load? If we run out of mobile data, we unfortunately cannot take a transport.

The map is cluttered. You can't choose favorite stops like in the old app, so the first two stops I see when I open the app at home is a city bike station and a stop that may be closest to me, but which I almost never use because I seldom take this particular bus line. Useless. Pushing the city bikes all the time is just annoying, I don't even have a subscription, so I don't need to see the city bike as the top travel suggestion every time. The one star is for showing ticket status, that's nice.

The routes shown on this app don't make sense any more. It used to be completely fine, but it seems to never want me to use relevant buses. It treats some routes like they don't even exist. Just use the ruter.no planner instead, the routes shown there are at least somewhat decent.

The new version is better but does not accurately show where the bus is when your waiting and I was about miss my train and probably should show how much traffic it is so you know what the reason why the bus is delayed.

This app is riddled with bugs and issues. Menues are not loading, options are greyed out when they shouldn't be and the app crashes at certain points. I cannot believe someone has approved this for launch when it clearly hasn't been tested enough
