Very promising application if we could get more notifications from more application like Growl has on OSX. On my Nexus S, when I get a call I do not see an notification, neither voice-mail, so it's a big down. SMS works. Google Apps Email do not work. So again, the platform works, but it's real value is limited due to the fact not a lot of apps support it. - tested on Nexus S with Cyanomodgen 7.

Notify over Cell network DOES NOT WORK. I am 110% sure I have port 10600 forwarded in my DD-WRT based router, I am 110% sure I have the correct IP address (external), but it just simply DOES NOT WORK over Cell Network with IP Address. The only option that works is broadcast over Wifi.

intermittent notifications on sms so back to 3.... uninstalled 3rd party sms app and restored defaults of native msg app and now works great so updated to 5 stars :-) #Nice idea- but doesn't notify on SMS (GS2). as this is my main method of communicating other than IM I can't rightly give more than 3 stars as that was really the only reason I wanted it :-/

The app is the best Desktop notifier for Android at the moment. My favorite feature is the auto-Wifi switching. I don't like to keep my WiFi on (I don't like battery drain). When a notification is to be sent, this app automatically switches on WiFi for a second, sends the notification to desktop, and switches off the WiFi immediately! Just AWESOME! I just love the automation! Wish more apps do like this instead of wanting a continuous WiFi connection.

I miss phone calls because I naively hope the app would alert me. i'm quite tired of it already. I tested it on wifi and bluetooth. no luck. my system is windows7 x64, using growl.

Very nice and promising app. But a little problem that I encounter. No notification on SMS but the CALL notify me. Running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit Nexus One with custom ICS ROM Thanks

The most common issue I've seen reported by others is the same issue I've been experiencing -- after a while it stops sending out notifications, even though it is still running as a service, until you re-open the app again. It's fun to play with but I'm not able to rely on it at all. :-(

Love the idea and works well for a bit then stops working after about 6 hours. Will give more stars when that problem's fixed and it starts getting more regular updates. last one was 2010!!

Great idea, but couldn't get it to connect on any of my pcs, WiFi nor Bluetooth. Will try again when I have more time to mess about with it.

As many people already noted - this would be a killer app, but only if it worked reliably. It just stops sending notifications randomly without apparent reason.
