Step 2) Start iSMS2droid and tap on "Import Messages" to select your iPhone SMS database file. Step 3) Choose if you want to import all messages, or select specific conversations by contact. Great, easy to follow instructions and explanations for how certain functions do or do not work (like how iOS stores sms attachments separately from the messages files). Developer is very knowledgeable! Worked wonderfully for transferring all my messages from my iphone to my pixel. Cannot thank you enough for this awesome free app!

It was a simple and easy process. The instructions tell you all you need to know. Like the last message says, your phone won't instantly have all your messages ready when the download is complete. It took me about 20 seconds afterwards to see everything. It even brought in the pictures I used to use for my contacts. I have a Galaxy Z Flip 3.

For some reason does not work properly with galaxy z flip 3 followed every step, uninstalled and reinstalled app, still wouldn't work. Anyone experiencing the same? **edit** Developer states read pop up notification, for some reason the modal is blank on mine. I gave it a 3/5 because it didnt work for me, non working apps usually is a 1 but just because it didn't work for me doesnt mean it wont work for you.

Worked exactly how it should. Got all messages hassle free. I realised the app wanted to select the file from Google drive for some reason for me. So I had to manually select the file from Google drive. But so fast and simple to use.

This worked very well transferring from an iPhone 7 to Samsung S21+. Copied around 55k messages (~64 MB of data) only took a few minutes. Navigating to the Apple backup on Windows 10; mine was located specifically at C:/Users/[User Name]/Apple/MobileSync/Backup . This transfer method includes old deleted text messages as well. Also FYI, this transfer method does NOT overwrite "new" messages that you might have received on your new device that you are transferring to.

Worked like a charm to bring my message history over from an iPhone. Note: if you use a work computer with domain profiles, use a local account for the iTunes export so that it is stored where the docs say. Call history was not there even then but I will search around to see where it is.

It works, and managed to transfer my sms. Solved my problem of losing the sms. Except i was too quick to proceed and didn't choose what to transfer. However you should update that to find the backup folder for iphone should be found by entering %appdata% in search bar and look for apple computer> mobilesync >backup. I couldnt find the folder initially.
