Great app. It is easy to navigate and it's great to have the full RSV2CE text at hand on mobile. One thing that is distracting is the little red tab for additional content. I wish there was a way to turn it off. Another thing that is confusing is the in-app purchase for the study Bible. When tapping the purchase, it only says New Testament, and there is no separate purchase for the Old Testament, so I am a bit wary of making the purchase and finding that I only get one.

Downloaded app to smart tv. App looks nothing like the example pages displayed here. And the lighthouse media content that you may already own is not accessible via this site without repurchasing. Support says that there should be a "restore purchases" option....but this does not exist. You are better off creating an account on FORMED because this app does not work well. And customer service or support is nearly non-existent. Definitely do not recommend.

New Testament has additional explanations that clarify why certain events are important as they explain the beliefs and thoughts of society and government at the time of Jesus. Taken out of this context and read in only the understanding of today's society would be totally misconstrued.

Great translation and notes, but it is slow to load, has weird navigation, some content is hard to find (like book intros), no audio for the Old Testament, and get this: ABSOLUTELY NO STUDY NOTES FOR THE PSALMS. (!!??) Also, don't waste your money on "Audio Study Notes", they're just little clips of sermons, often repeated, and only linked to a few New Testament verses. Great video content but only for "rent". Bummer. Both fantastic and disappointing. I hope they upgrade this promising app.

Beautiful app. Thank you for fixing the crashing bug and I appreciate the faster loading time. The only critique I have is the difficulty of trying to tap the chapter and book text at the top of the screen. They have very small hit boxes and I keep clicking the wrong one by accident. Maybe it's just me. I don't know.

I love your app, but I almost can't use it because of the small red flags with numbers that appear on every Bible screen, and they're very distracting. That is a cheap commercial marketing trick that has no place in a screen where someone is trying to read scripture and reach out to the living God. it would be okay to solicit donations (as a one-time popup, or something) but there has to be some way to get rid of that red flag.

I found the accessible parts of this app very easy to use and quick to load. The extra content looks very useful & inspiring. I downloaded the app for the study portion, only to find that it costs a minimum of $19.99 ($29.99 if I want the nt audio), & I can't afford the extra expenditure. Virtually all of the wonderful looking content is costly so I will delete the Catholic Study Bible & stick to more Catholic apps that don't try to fleece me at every turn. I like "Laudate" and YouTube.

The content is great but the layout and buttons are not very intuitive. The app continually freezes on me, especially in the home screen. It's frustrating to use, too because everytime I want to look up a verse it takes me through the same buttons (I.e. Choosing which bible, which testament, etc.)

Thank the Lord I happen to read someone else's review. I gave a one star before because it's not very intuitive and seems to want to sell you stuff, but after spending a little more time and now knowing how to get to the other books in the Bible, it seems pretty good so far. I'll bump it up to 3 for now and I'll spend more time and come back with an update.

I have this bible in print and love It! Though, I would like to purchase the footnotes that are in my printed copy. I paid $20.00 to purchase this app, but was disappointed the entire printed version with footnotes, maps and dictionary was NOT included. Why not publishers? Now i find out i have to make a seperate purchase. Not right or truthful of your company.Thank you.
