Minimalistic cleaner for *ROOTED* devices, now with a scheduler! CacheCleaner allows you to remove all the cache files from the internal memory and (optionally) from the SD card. It runs either on-demand, or at scheduled times. The list of cleaned applications can be selected, for example to prevent Google Maps' cached maps from being removed for offline use. Press the menu button in the application list for more options. If you think the cleaning process runs too slowly, you can select “Old cleaning method” in the options. PLEASE NOTE =========== If the cleaning process hangs or if it fails to clean anything, especially on Ice Cream Sandwich, please install BusyBox version 1.18.4 with JRummy16's BusyBox Installer. The app works really well and I found it to be the most effective cache cleaner in the sense that it cleans the deepest of files and frees up the most storage space. I've been using this since 2.3 Gingerbread on my HTC Evo 3D (it came with a custom ROM) and ever since then it's been a must have app for me. The only problem which it has on Lollipop only is that the notification which shows how much data has been deleted is blank. This is both on dark and light themes. Please fix the notification system on L.

I used this app in the past because it has always worked well, but now after the cache is cleaned, it does not say how many MB were cleaned. I guess its more of a minor gripe than anything else.

Used this app since gingerbread version never have any problems. After lollipops update I have small issue that need to improve for next update. If you can change notification text different color than white it'll be the best. Thanks,

Used it for about a week each time I went back through all the cache files none of them were cleaned out. Let alone they had quite a bit left and I was losing space all the time

Only issue I have noticed is that after a cleaning it use to show the stats in the notification area. Now it only shows the icon. It was nice to be able to see the stats of how much memory left. Hope it gets fixed. This is on a Galaxy S3.

Does it job almost perfectly, but little update of the UI wouldn't hurt... and yes I know it's not the kind of app that you constantly viewing because of its great scheduled task mode, but still.

Been using this application for awhile now. I have an SGS3 & it works fine except that it doesn't display anything on the pull down menu (status bar). It's just a black screen with the icon... Stock rooted.

If I could actually get this to run past 32% I would be a happy camper. Ive tried it multiple times and the out come is the same. Anyone else having this problem?

App used to work but now it keeps getting stuck at 20%. Tried clearing app cache and data, even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing works? What happened? It used to work great...

It's funny seeing folks asking for different features and fixes for the "next update" and such lol. Apparently you guys should really look at the descriptions of apps you download. The author abandoned this app. Last update was in 2012 for crying out loud lol.
