Browse all levels of the Android API on your device The Android API Browser provides a convenient UI for exploring the Android APIs across versions. The Android Open Source Project publishes an XML specification of the API each time they release a new version. I've taken the specifications for each API available and built a single database for use with this application. To use this application you will need to download the API database. The database is ~8MB and can be stored on either your internal or external storage. You will be prompted to download the database and notified when updates are available. The current database covers android-1 through android-14 (4.0). This application was developed in Ruby through the Ruboto project (JRuby on Android). For more information on Ruboto visit ruboto.org. Android API Browser, above all others, has been instrumental to my learning and writing of Android apps. I would hate to have to program without it. But, I am now doing just that. The app does not run correctly on my new ASUS TF700T, a tablet I bought specifically for programming. I have heard nothing from the developer after pointing this out. DEVELOPER: as soon as this is fixed (or I'm told you will not be supporting ICS+), I will adjust my rating accordingly.

I will definitely be able to use the app when I start coding JRuby on Android. Attention Google: PLEASE HEAVILY SUPPORT RUBY ON ANDROID. Ruby should be the primary language on Android (no license, patent issues with Oracle!)! I hope Ruboto takes off and is heavily supported on Eclipse and Netbeans.

Havent seen anything yet. After initialation it shows black screen and you can click menu to bring up the about option.
