Screen pattern is shifted each 5 minutes to prevent uneven pixel wear-out. This app has limited functionality on Android 7 and newer, it cannot dim system buttons and notification area, because of new security model in Android 7. I rarely leave reviews, but this app is so good if you have an OLED screen. There are tons of apps that dim every pixel by X%, but this is the only one I've found that just turns off some pixels while leaving others on without dining. The result is that you don't have weird issues with colors like you sometimes do with the other sort of dimming app. Occasionally I use both this and Screen Filter at the same time if I really want the screen to be dark.

I don't know about others, but for me, i use it to reduce glare on my screen and it works so good. Now i don't face any glare on my amoled screen because i use this app to reduce my brightness level. It's awesome....

I could ask for nothing more. No frills, no ads, no permissions requested, no trial, no payment, no subscription. Lightweight, low resource consumption, does what it says. If this app wasn't free I'd buy it without hesitation.

This app is simple and just works. It do what it does, and is very easy to use(and effective on saving battery power). Besides, the open source nature of this app teached me how to draw overlays on the notification bar, even after API 26(Android 8) by using FLAG_LAYOUT_IN_SCREEN. Thank you for developing such an amazing app.

This app is really great, it helps me save battery, it also helps me at night in dimming the screen, and I dont know if this feature is included in the app but it somehow increases my fps in playing games, although kinda annoying because I constantly need to turn it off just to take a clear screenshot

I do like the filter itself and the notification with the option to quickly turn off more or less pixels. I kind of wish it had an option to set it to turn on and off when the battery gets down to a certain level or at certain hours. However, the app crashes every time the screen rotates, even when the filter is not active.
