This remote control app allows you to control your Samsung Smart TV over the local network. It is tested with Samsung K-series Tizen TVs (2016 and later) and C, D, E, F, H, J (manufactured between 2010 - 2015) TVs with network (LAN or WiFi) interface.
★ C-Series TV (2010) with Internet TV feature
The function "Remote Control" in the settings of the TV must be enabled)! It's usuallly located at Menu -> System Settings. If there is no such setting, then sadly your TV does not support remote control over network.
★ D-Series models (2011) with AllShare Smart TV feature
★ E(S/H)-Series (2012) with AllShare Smart TV feature
★ F-Series (2013) with AllShare Smart TV feature
App must be set as allowed remote application in the Allshare settings of the TV. If this app connects to your TV on the first time, then you have to accept the message that appears on your TV. If you have refused the confirmation message on your TV ("accept device"), it is possible later to change your selection by going to: Menu -> Network -> AllShare Settings or Menu/Tools -> Network -> Expert Settings -> Mobile Device Manager.
★ K-Series (2016+) Samsung Tizen models with MultiScreen Smart TV control feature your phone must be set as allowed device in Mobile Device Manager. If this app connects to your TV on the first time, then you have to accept the message that appears on your TV. If you have refused the confirmation message on your TV ("accept device"), it is possible later to change your selection by going to: Menu -> Network -> Expert Settings -> Mobile Device Manager.
NB! Make sure your television and phone or tablet are connected to the same local network. This app will work only then when your phone and TV are both on the same local network!

It actually works! It's probably because the tv is already connected to the same wifi. But it connected as soon as i opened the app and it works just as expected. If there's an improvement i would think of, i wish there was a button to invoke phone keyboard so i can directly type using qwerty instead of using the directional button and pressing enter for each letter while search on netflix etc.

App works great, does exactly as needed. Only thing I can say is sometimes depending on your device and TV, you may need the original remote to give the phone access which in some cases isn't convenient if you got the app to use in place of a broken original remote lol. My new phone did not require access to be granted however from the TV.

This is the first app that resembles one of my Samsung TV original remote. It works exactly like my original remote on all of my Samsung TV. Thank you for making this app for those of us who can't seem to find the remote but can't seem to lose our phone...lol If you have a Samsung TV this is your app!!!

Works every time. Would be good if the button response time was a bit quicker. But this may be a limitation of my older model smart TV. Advertising is well balanced and isn't too Intrusive either.

This review might be long winded, but will be worth it! Maybe! I have 2 dogs/ 2 cats who for some godforsaken reason, prefer the taste of telly remotes to Chum/Whiskers! Secondly, I have a phone that farts then dies if you even look at it. Anyway, have tried 17553 others b4 stumbling on this wee beauty last night! HURRAH! IT BLOODY WORKS! If it had an arse i'd kiss it! True story!!!!

My remote buttons are stuck and this app just gave me life!! Now I don't have to run out and get me a universal remote immediately. In fact I don't really need to get one at all now. Wonderful app thank you. Commercials are not intrusive so I'm good with it. Thanks again

This remote is by far better than other ones I have tried. Most didn't ask for confirmation on the TV before connecting or it didn't show up. The delay is about the same as the ir remote it came with which is fine. Thanks for such an amazing app!

It was great for months at first but now everytime I open the app I have to "allow" it to connect. I can't do that without a remote which is why I need the app.... this app is pretty much useless unless you have your actual remote at home.

Warning; now this thing has sound ads that might wake you up in the middle of the night. It's a decent remote. One problem... The spectrum app for my TV requires me to hold buttons for some features. Eg. , This app doesn't let me hold down the > directional button. It just registered as a tap.

If you don't know your IP address to your TV download the app Fing. It connects to your wifi and tells you all the devices. As for this remote app, I find it works significantly better than other apps I've tried. Being connected to the IP address seems to work better than other apps that connect through wifi. I haven't had issues yet with the remote not responding.
