I downloaded and have been using this app for more than 5 weeks to help me continue studying whilst on public transport. For that purpose it works quite well and has proven invaluable in helping with my listening practice and memorizing Chinese characters. It however is not without its bugs and the pricing is just incredible for students who are living and studying in Taiwan on either no income or a typical Taiwanese salary. I've already paid out over 1000 NT$ in textbooks for the Chinese course. Just got a response back after more than 18 months from the devs! They don't care about feedback it seems and won't be reducing the price for students studying at the Shida Manadarin Training Centre and have already purchased the books. Also to make matters worse (and unlike the iOS version) they've not updated the app since February 2020!!

The app itself is very good. The musical jingles should be changed to something shorter. Otherwise you listen to the same silly melodies each time you want to repeat a dialog.

Purchases are platform-dependent. If you use or switch to an iOS device you would have to buy your lessons twice. This is unacceptable in 2020. We should have account and purchases should be attached to the account, not the device. The lesson context is great but there's no good entry point for beginners. I'm at a more intermediate level so it's ok for me, but beginners beware. The UI is a little weird. This and the iOS version both stray from their respective design guidelines.

Do not buy it! This app is developed by Mandarin Training Centrum (MTC) of NTNU in Taipei, but it does not represent the physical book entirely. The school claims it is the same as the book, but it is not. Overpiced, quite some mistakes and lacking content. Compared to the book, it is missing proper grammar explaination, missing excersises and does not have the conversation dialogues translated + pinyin as it is suposed to be. The app does not help you to study at MTC, you must buy their books.

The apps is good but can you add more function where there is a audio recording about the vocabulary (the hanzi/pinyin and the meaning) on each chapter so that we can hear it while we work or doing something else. Where we don't need to push each button on each charactet to hear the recording. Thankyou.

Good, but I think it's rather mean giving just 3 short lessons. I wouldn't mind keeping it, if I didn't have low storage on my phone, so I'm deleting it..
