It immediately gives you sentences to pronounce and when I ask it to translate it says that it's not online so it cannot translate but my phone is very much online and it's really not giving me tips on pronouncing my German words any better it's just giving me a bunch of words and asking me to pronounce them and I either pass or fail and it's really kind of weird

It's an OK app, but neither the speaker nor translate functions work. If the authors fixed this, then it would be a 4-star review.

Definitely needs some reworking. There are times when the written sentence does not match what is spoken. I found that speaking the written sentence is accepted. Another issue is when you are unable to pronounce a word, the program ends that session and you must start a new session. I cannot get past the name "Eleanor." Instead of recognizing I am having difficulties and return to it at a much later session, it is right there in the next session. I am stuck in a near endless loop at this point.

Nice app. Good for improving your accent. Could use more words and phrases. And it should tell you what you're saying. But its not a language learning app. It won't really teach you to speak German.. Its more of an accent improvement app. Itll make you SOUND more German when you finally DO learn to speak German. Or if you already know German, but your accent sucks.. THIS IS THE APP YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. If you want to learn German.. use another app. To improve your accent, use this app.

This app is super annoying when it comes to being rated.I wanted to translate a phrase and bam, the "rate us window" pops out. It's honestly very annoying.It also does not give you the option to skip a phrase cuz you can't pronounce it so you get stuck there. Some words are computed and hard to pronounce cuz you gotta pronounce it like a computer too :(

Most of the time it works fine. However, the following always result in error: for "willkommen" it is understanding "Willkommen" with capital W=not accepted. "ich weiße nicht" recognised as "ich weiß es nicht" or "ich weiß ja nicht", no matter how many times I try. In some cases the audio says "du" and the text says "Sie" (in this case the correct answer is reading the text out loud). Apart from these occasional but very annoying issues, the app is great for practising German pronunciation.

It says a phrase and asks you to repeat it vocally. It'll help your accent. Takes some vocal talent if youre as new to German language and anyone could be . I happen to be good at imitating accents so I thought I did pretty good. I was looking for an app that would let me type something in.. in german. And then hear the way its pronounced. This is like flash cards you cant pick what you want to hear. What I wanted to hear was German Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei

It's seems like this app is still in beta. There are some sentences whose audio doesn't match the written words. It's sad, because this is a great app, besides those bugs!
