The WSJ content is great, but the app itself needs work. The most frequently annoying issue is when the app resets to the top of the list of articles. This seems to happen anytime I tap an article and read it for more than a couple minutes, then go back to the list. I have to start from the top then try to find where I was again. This also often happens if the screen goes to sleep. The other annoying issue is when a story loads the website within the app. I often have to login again.

As a user in Bangladesh, it is extremely difficult to cancel one's subscription. So freaking hard! There is no frigging cancel option anywhere and you have to make international calls that have really poor connectivity. After waiting on hold for forever, you get someone who redirects you to another team, who in turn keeps you on hold for a really long time, only to tell you to drop the call and call another number. So annoyed at WSJ. Makes me wanna kill myself. Ugh!

Let me start by saying this review is solely for the use and feel of the app itself not the journalism of the Wall Street Journal. With that I can't help but feel like the whole experience of using the app is very clunky. The most frequent bug I've encountered is when trying to view an article the app tries to redirect you to a browser and then immediately back to the app and it just gets stuck in a loop to the point where I have to force quit the app. Very frustrating...

Great app for reading good journal-ism...too many notifications...I don't need to know when the new issue is published.

This APP isn't working for android (Pixel 2XL). It repeatedly ask me to log in when I try view any article. As soon as I enters my password it jumps back to the article page and ask me to log in again. I'm unable to use the app. I contacted customer service and they suggested the following: - restart the app - restart your phone - reinstall the app When I report back none of the above works. They gave up and left the problem resolve. Zero sincerity in resolving persisting customer problem.

I find that the necessity of signing in as a subscriber is almost prohibitive in itself You should be able to recognize me as a subscriber, as my other newspapers do. Worse still sometimes your system takes me in circles and I can't log in. If this isn't fixed by the end of my subscription I won't renew. It may have something to do with be being out of the USA but my Canadian subscription to the Globe and Mail can cope so you need to too.

I subscribe but I am redirected from app headlines to browser to read article, thus login to app on browser is required... why? This is a a deal breaker for me. I am already logged into the app. I don't want to faff about with browser logins to read, what's the point of having the app at all? I really enjoy the writing content but for me it is a miserable experience

Best robust paper there is. Its left leaning but more balanced than most others considering.

They have eliminated the option to see the full paper. None of the pricing is available. This only shows the articles and, because you don't see the full paper, I have no idea if the application provides all the articles. Considering my local paper does provide that information for well under half the annual price of the WSJ I am very disappointed. However, they solve the weird thing of making you hunt down the full article which I used to have to do before the "upgrade".

I used this app for a couple of years until stopped working - it wouldn't display the full content of the article despite of me maintaining my active subscription and account status. Customer Service was unresponsive. I had to uninstall the app and cancel my subscription. It is very unfortunate, because I did enjoy the content (while I was able to get to it)
